Beschreibung

• Plan & prepare drawings for construction of new, overhead, or underground links, cables, & conduits. • Select the most cost beneficial route for all lines and equipment for projects. • Ensure network expands throughout the regions served. • Utilize CAD & manual processes for mapping and drafting. • Provide real-time direction to colleagues to meet project timelines & contractual obligations. • Communicate & escalate contractual, technical, or scheduling requirements that are in jeopardy. • Track and follow up on all issues & actions encountered by colleagues and vendors. • Integrate innovations into design & engineering practices. • Collaborate with Sales to develop tailored design solutions for potential customers. • Oversee and guide design-permitting vendors.

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years’ technical experience working in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations. • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. • Proactive, independent, and collaborative - takes initiative to keep on-task and on-target. • Fiber and telecommunications industry experience is essential, with a strong understanding of industry standards, technologies, & processes critical for success in the role.
