Beschreibung

• Design and develop complex engineering solutions for power distribution projects ranging from 120V to 34.5kV • Apply engineering principles and applicable utility standards, including NESC, NEC, ASCE, and IEEE • Review engineering and design drawings prepared by Engineer I and II staff and interns • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering and design problems • Ensure engineering work complies with safety and design standards and best practices • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes • Prepare technical documentation, reports, project records, plans, specifications, procurement documents, and construction documentation • Communicate project status, risks, and technical insights to supervising engineers and stakeholders • Participate in stakeholder meetings • Conduct field walkdowns to gather site data and support design development • Mentor Engineer I and II staff and Intern/Co-op participants • Drive process improvement and innovation initiatives • Participate in professional organizations and conferences • Continue professional development and licensure progression with senior-engineer guidance

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Multi-Disciplinary Engineering from an ABET-accredited program • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Power Distribution Line Engineer in a consulting or utility environment • Working knowledge of NESC, ASCE, and IEEE standards applied to power distribution line design • Ability to work with limited supervision and independently execute multiple concurrent project commitments • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex engineering challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions • Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in the United States strongly preferred but not required
