Beschreibung

• Own new product development for the grocery retail and CPG industry end to end, from customer conversation through concept, validation, MVP, and launch • Run continuous discovery with retailers, CPG brands, category managers, and merchandisers • Define lean, testable MVPs, write requirements, and release first versions to real customers • Translate WISEcode’s food data assets, scoring systems, and ingredient intelligence into adopted product experiences • Lead pilot engagements with early retail and CPG partners and convert pilots into repeatable products • Create concept briefs, specs, user stories, decision logs, and other product documentation • Work with Science, Data, and Engineering teams; run agile ceremonies and make prioritization decisions • Define success metrics and acceptance criteria, including evaluations for AI/LLM-powered features • Support demos, RFP responses, and commercial follow-ups with prospective grocery and CPG customers • In the first 90 days, complete customer discovery, define and pitch a zero-to-one product concept, and initiate a partner pilot

🎯 Anforderungen

• 6+ years in product management, with software products personally shipped as the PM of record • Required experience developing software products in the grocery retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry • Understanding of how retailers, distributors, and brands operate, including category management, merchandising, private label, retail media, or brand analytics • Experience taking at least one product from concept to first release and first revenue • Strong customer discovery skills, including structured interviews and validating willingness to pay • Technical fluency with data, APIs, and AI/LLM-based systems • Ability to scope realistically with engineering and pressure-test build plans without writing production code • Ability to align scientists, engineers, executives, and external partners and drive decisions without formal authority • Exceptional written and facilitation skills, including concept briefs, specs, and updates • Curiosity and scientific literacy • Background or genuine interest in food, nutrition, or health data is a plus
