Beschreibung

• Provide strategic leadership for the Korean Initiatives department, including its US-based team and Regional Center team in Korea • Take primary responsibility for Korean Initiatives administration, management, and financial sustainability • Lead and drive development of academic, promotional, and exchange programs • Build and strengthen relationships with Korean partners and the Korean diaspora church • Manage all Korean Initiatives academic and non-academic programs • Supervise development, operation, management, and sustainability of Korean Doctor of Ministry and Korean Master of Arts in Theological Studies programs • Supervise non-academic programs, especially in Korea • Supervise promotion and marketing strategies for Korean Initiatives programs • Serve as leader, speaker, spokesperson, and advocate for Korean Initiatives • Lead and manage the Korean Council and other advisory groups • Report academic program progress and performance to the Senior Leadership Team through the VP of Global • Travel within the US and overseas to promote programs • Create and execute programs to acquire, retain, and steward Korean partners and donors • Assist the President and VP of Global with fundraising and outreach • Manage the SaRang Center and Harvie Conn Center for Korean History with the library director • Oversee memoranda of understanding with partner institutions in Korea • Supervise and coach approximately 18 employees • Conduct subordinate performance evaluations and make hiring, pay, and termination recommendations

🎯 Anforderungen

• Excellent oral, written, and reading skills in Korean and English • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to use a Mac and PC • Advanced financial and budgeting skills required • Expert administrative skills required • Master’s degree required • Minimum of 7 years of experience required • Fluency in Korean and English • Understanding of and agreement with Westminster’s mission and teaching • Intimate knowledge of Korean culture and social conventions • Personnel must belong to a Protestant evangelical church • Personnel must subscribe to Biblical orthodoxy in belief and orthopraxy in practice • Must affirm agreement with the historic, trinitarian Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed • Must sign Westminster Theological Seminary’s Community Life Policy affirming commitment to Christian belief and practice
