Description

• Build and own demand and elasticity modelling capability across destination, duration, data tier, and customer segment • Develop machine learning models for demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay, taking them from exploration through production with monitoring and retraining • Build the optimisation layer that converts forecasts and elasticities into recommended prices under margin, competitive, and partner constraints • Design and analyse pricing experiments with statistical rigour and apply causal methods where randomisation is not possible • Define governed pricing, cost, and package-economics definitions within the data ecosystem • Partner with Commercial and Finance to connect pricing decisions to margin and revenue and size opportunities • Set the analytical standard for pricing, including evidence requirements and model or recommendation validation • Build analytical capability from raw data and business questions into repeatedly used commercial tools • Connect financial, product, and operational analysis to financial outcomes • Translate analytical rigour into commercial reality while partnering with Commercial and Product

🎯 Exigences

• 7+ years in data science, quantitative economics, or applied research, including pricing, monetisation, or marketplace economics work that changed decisions • Experience with dynamic or algorithmic pricing systems in production • Advanced degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, or similar, or equivalent applied depth in demand estimation and identification problems • Hands-on machine learning experience across the full lifecycle, from feature engineering and model selection through deployment • Familiarity with optimisation and decision-science methods, including constrained optimisation, bandits, or reinforcement learning • Proven experimentation expertise, including designing and defending experiments and understanding decision frameworks and failure modes • Experience building analytical capability from raw data and business questions into repeatedly used commercial tools • Strong data modelling instincts and experience with reusable definitions and single sources of truth • Ability to work across financial, product, and operational data and connect analysis to financial outcomes • Fluency in the Python ML stack and strong SQL • Engineering hygiene enabling others to run and maintain code • Excellent communication skills, including explaining methodological arguments • Self-starter mindset and ability to bring structure in ambiguity • Comfort using AI tools to augment analytical work • Comfortable communicating in English in meetings and asynchronously
