Description

• Provide expert technical support to Corporate Accounting during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles • Troubleshoot journal entry issues, automated accruals, recurring journals, cross-validation failures, and sub-ledger posting errors • Maintain Oracle General Ledger configurations, including COA mapping, Accounting Calendars, Ledger Sets, Data Access Sets, and cross-validation rules • Manage multi-currency translations, revaluations, intercompany consolidations, and eliminations across Medicare Advantage plan entities • Automate and optimize Oracle Close Monitor and broader financial close workflows using Python, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code principles • Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle sub-ledger and third-party system interfaces • Build and maintain SQL queries for sub-ledger-to-GL reconciliation and out-of-balance resolution • Develop and optimize financial reports using FRS, Smart View, and OTBI • Maintain Segregation of Duties controls and support audits with logs, configuration snapshots, and data lineage documentation • Serve as Tier 3/4 escalation expert for complex Oracle GL incidents and drive root-cause analysis and preventive controls • Provide technical mentorship and potentially lead GL and Financial Close workstreams during Oracle implementation • Participate in on-call support, including Day 1 to Day 5 monthly close, quarterly close, and year-end close

🎯 Exigences

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience in Oracle Financials • Minimum 4 years focused on General Ledger and Financial Close modules in a production environment • Experience maintaining GL configurations including COA mapping, Ledger Sets, Accounting Calendars, and Data Access Sets • Understanding of US GAAP or IFRS accounting principles • Root-cause analysis experience for out-of-balance ledgers, sub-ledger reconciliation discrepancies, and GL interface failures • Participation in at least two full-lifecycle Oracle Financials implementations or major upgrades, with hands-on GL and Close workstream involvement • Experience with SOX, HIPAA, and SoD requirements • Experience in a regulated healthcare, insurance, or financial services environment • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field with a strong technical background; equivalent professional experience may be considered • Hands-on proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials GL module • Working knowledge of FBDI and ADFdi • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials GL configuration, COA mapping, Ledger Sets, and Close Monitor • Experience with Oracle Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, OTBI, SQL, PL/SQL, Python or PowerShell • Knowledge of financial compliance, internal controls, audit documentation, and CMS reporting • Ability to meet the role's essential physical functions, with reasonable accommodations available
