Description

• Independently manage Title IV financial aid processing for students enrolled in clock-hour programs • Review FAFSAs and determine and verify eligibility • Complete awarding, packaging, ISIR corrections, disbursements, calculations, professional judgments, and dependency overrides • Apply federal student aid requirements and maintain compliance and accuracy • Review documentation, identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and support compliant outcomes • Communicate directly with schools and students across FAME's two service models • Explain financial aid requirements, information needed, and next steps • Communicate with assigned schools by phone, email, and virtual meetings, including monthly meetings • Provide updates on student financial aid matters and build trusted school relationships • Investigate financial aid issues, determine next steps, and move cases forward • Collaborate with the remote team when additional information or support is needed • Manage workload while meeting turnaround time, productivity, accuracy, and reliability expectations

🎯 Exigences

• Extensive experience working in a school financial aid administration department • Extensive knowledge of Title IV federal student aid regulations and compliance requirements for clock-hour schools • Extensive experience administering Title IV financial aid for clock-hour programs • Ability to complete packaging and awarding, ISIR corrections, verification, professional judgments, dependency overrides, disbursements, and financial aid calculations independently • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail • Self-directed and organized; able to manage detailed work and meet turnaround expectations • Customer service and financial counselling skills • Ability to explain complex federal student aid requirements, eligibility, estimates, and financial aid offers clearly • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to build trusted relationships in a remote environment • Ability to manage competing priorities, follow through, solve problems independently, and collaborate remotely • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Comfort working with financial aid management systems, student information systems, databases, and virtual collaboration tools • Experience with FAME's software preferred but not required • Must be based in the United States and work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
