Description

• Design, build, test, deploy, run, and monitor backend features and services across payments, fraud, compliance, and user management • Build and maintain integrations with banks, card networks, and other third-party services • Handle edge cases associated with money movement • Write and review technical designs • Participate in architecture discussions • Find and fix bottlenecks and failure modes across microservices • Improve test quality and observability • Collaborate with product and compliance teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into working software

🎯 Exigences

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production backend systems • Track record of delivering features independently from ambiguous requirements through production • Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals • Working experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices • Ability and willingness to travel up to approximately 15% annually • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Python 3 and web frameworks and APIs, especially Flask • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases • Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud platforms • Familiarity with domain-driven design, clean architecture, and CQRS is a plus • Financial systems experience, including payment processing, fraud detection, or compliance systems, preferred • Familiarity with AML, KYC, PCI DSS, or similar regulations, preferred • Experience with financial APIs and money movement systems such as ACH and card networks, preferred • Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations, preferred • Experience with systems processing high transaction volumes, preferred • Authorization to work in the United States • Must not require visa sponsorship to continue working in the United States
