Description

• Execute talent strategy, including recruitment, evaluation, and selection of speakers for International Convention, regional, summer, and other immersive experiences • Support deployment of educators and song leaders to immersive experiences • Lead end-to-end talent and content support for regional conventions • Partner with regional teams to identify programming priorities, secure talent, and coach staff and talent to deliver engaging, high-quality experiences • Partner with the BBYO Alumni team to identify and select alumni speakers • Serve as lead liaison to external talent on the International Convention Program Team • Collaborate with regional leadership to coordinate talent and consultant assignments • Guide and coach International Convention program teams in developing high-quality programs • Ensure talent continuity and exceptional hosting experiences • Manage talent relationships from outreach through post-event follow-up, including fee and contract negotiations, performance evaluation, and return-engagement decisions • Oversee the talent budget, contract and payment approvals, and talent management in Airtable • Manage, coach, and develop the Associate, Talent Services • Oversee contract administration, travel coordination, payments, and recordkeeping • Develop talent deployment resources • Attend regional conventions and other programs to evaluate talent in action

🎯 Exigences

• Experience with youth or teens is preferred • Ability to identify speakers or educators who resonate with teens and assess whether Jewish content is fun, meaningful, and relevant • Experience building and maintaining relationships with external partners, vendors, or talent • Experience managing and developing a direct report • Ability to manage and oversee talent and program budgets • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, secure, and execute talent contracts • Proficiency with Airtable, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Zoom • Ability to use social media and professional networks to discover and vet talent for teen audiences • Familiarity with AZA and BBG, BBYO’s Immersive Programs, or Jewish youth programs is preferred • 8+ years of work experience • Bachelor’s degree or higher • Attend BBYO major events 3–4 times per year, including Staff Conference, Team Retreats, International Convention, and site visits • Ability to travel as needed: 15% throughout the year • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law
