• Lead a team of motivated sales professionals representing BMS integrity through approved disease and product information and resources • Create and articulate a district vision aligned with organizational objectives • Analyze performance data, market trends, and market access dynamics • Build strategic business plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities • Demonstrate knowledge of BMS Hematology products, the Hematology marketplace, competitive products, and disease areas • Model and coach exemplary selling skills and product and disease-state knowledge • Facilitate team-member growth and development based on individual needs, motivation, and business requirements • Create a continuous-learning environment where team members feel challenged and engaged • Lead the group through change while maintaining focus on current and future business needs • Collaborate across a matrix sales organization to address customer needs and achieve sales targets • Report to the Regional Business Director • Physically travel to visit customers, patients, or business partners and attend meetings as directed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or other related industry experience • Prior experience as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales, or equivalent experience in leading and managing high performing teams is required • Hematology experience strongly preferred • Understanding of Hematology reimbursement, access and distribution environment strongly preferred • Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet or exceed expectations and goals • Proven successful track record of selecting, developing and retaining talented individuals • Previous experience using analytical skills, selling skills, and developing strong business acumen • Working knowledge of the market access environment • At least 21 years of age • Driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence • Acceptable driving risk level as determined by the Company • Compliance with all laws, regulations and policies governing BMS conduct
