• Support growth of the wastewater practice through advanced disinfection expertise, technical leadership, and business development • Serve as a key resource for clients facing emerging disinfection and permitting challenges • Lead project delivery teams nationally to achieve project goals • Ensure consistent application of quality standards, guidelines, and best practices throughout project lifecycles • Drive technical delivery and quality management while mitigating risks • Build and maintain national client relationships and develop tailored technical solutions • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies • Lead collaboration among project delivery, client services, and technical services teams • Support the Practice leader with SMS governance and systems for talent development • Lead technical training and mentor less experienced practitioners • Recruit and develop talent affiliated with the technical area • Present to clients, conferences, and industry association events • Execute additional assignments based on evolving needs
• Minimum of 10 years in assigned specialty related experience • 10+ years of experience in municipal wastewater treatment, with a focus on disinfection and/or filtration technologies • Advanced disinfection research, pilot studies, laboratory methods, and regulatory compliance expertise • Experience with EPA-related Enterococci sampling and analytical methods • Understanding of historical versus current sampling practices and impacts on permit compliance • Practical experience with peracetic acid (PAA) and performic acid applications • Proven ability to develop client relationships, identify opportunities, and sell technical consulting or engineering services • Experience supporting major municipal utility clients • Ability to lead and connect multidisciplinary technical teams and facilitate organizational knowledge-sharing • A degree in Engineering, Science, Geology, or a related field with an emphasis related to the technical role required • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure, preferred • Typically certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through SMS competencies • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug test
