Description

• Design, build, and optimize backend systems for real-time data processing and web services • Own SLIs and SLOs for Core API services and use error budgets to balance delivery speed and stability • Build observability through metrics, structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerts • Participate in on-call rotation, respond to incidents, and lead blameless postmortems • Reduce operational toil through automation and complete incident action items • Conduct capacity planning, load testing, and performance tuning • Partner with cross-functional teams on integrations • Mentor other engineers

🎯 Exigences

• 5+ years in backend development, including meaningful time operating production systems • Strong demonstrated experience with Go, scalable APIs, real-time data processing, and microservices • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation • Working fluency with observability tooling such as Datadog • On-call experience triaging live incidents and mitigating impact • Strong SQL and experience with DynamoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch • Proficiency with Git, shell scripting, and CI/CD • Fluency in English • Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments with direct stakeholder contact • Eagerness to mentor junior engineers • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Bonus experience with analytical storage systems, queueing and streaming systems, performance profiling, cost optimization, vector databases, ML-adjacent product engineering, concurrent programming, or internet security and privacy mechanisms
