Description

• Build and maintain donor-facing giving forms, giving pages, and admin tools focused on conversion, accessibility, and mobile-first design • Build and harden one-time, recurring, and membership payment flows across Stripe, ACH, and Digital Wallets • Work across the full stack, including UI components, backend services, database queries, and performance • Own features and small-to-medium projects end to end, including technical design, work breakdown, coding, testing, deployment, and production support • Partner with the Tech Lead, Product Manager, Designer, and engineers to turn user needs and business goals into technical solutions • Participate in sprint planning, story scoping, estimation, and acceptance-criteria review • Write clean, tested, documented code and participate in code review • Contribute to technical debt refinement and coding standards • Participate in interviewing and onboarding • Support the platform through team-based support and a paired 24/7 on-call rotation, including payment reconciliation, recurring-gift issues, reporting fixes, and partner configuration requests • Ship production changes multiple times per day in an Agile environment using mostly Scrum with one-week sprints

🎯 Exigences

• 3+ years of hands-on, real-world development experience • Full-stack proficiency with a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue.js plus a backend language and framework such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, or similar • Experience contributing to technical design discussions and breaking down features into well-scoped, incrementally shippable work • Solid SQL database skills, including schema design, query writing and optimization, and data integrity • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs • Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing experience • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and CI/CD pipelines • Good production debugging instincts and judgment balancing speed with maintainability • Clear communication, comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and ownership from conception through maintenance • User-focused mindset regarding donors, school administrators, and fundraising results • Ability to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific onsites throughout the year • Rails and React experience preferred • Bonus: payments experience, Ruby on Rails and RSpec, consumer-facing checkout or donation flows, fundraising/crowdfunding/fintech/e-commerce products, caching, observability, performance/stability triage, or front-end design
