• Facilitation, mapping and proposing solutions for business needs. • Collaborate in the analysis and documentation of the client's business needs, proposing business solutions that best address them. • Support the development team by taking work items for development in each Sprint. • Support the Product Owner in decomposing business needs by identifying the requirements generated/impacted in the systems as user stories to start Sprint execution. • Responsible for uncovering stakeholders’ true needs, not just their explicit wishes. • Support activities related to development, with emphasis on the elicitation and documentation process for functional and non-functional software requirements. • Manage own work, promptly notifying the team of any potential delays. • Knowledge of the systems in which they operate. • Identify and map business needs in a practical and visual way. • Represent business needs as maps, business requirements and user stories. • Master the concepts of business analysis and process, user-centered design and agile methods. • Knowledge of business analysis practices, MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and agile requirements. • Understand existing business processes, products and services and their rules in order to provide IT solutions when necessary. • Understand the needs of business managers and clients/users to propose solutions. • Knowledge of the methods: • a. SCRUM; • b. Lean Startup; • Knowledge of IT tools and solutions to solve business problems, with the ability to identify IT services that can be reused across different business areas or stages of a business process. • Familiarity with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). • Assist the Product Owner in preparing the backlog of user stories for the start of Sprint execution. • Assist the Product Owner with acceptance of the stories built during the Sprint. • Maintain requirements traceability and record impact analyses of Sprint stories. • Techniques for elicitation, analysis, specification, documentation and validation of project stakeholders’ needs. • Definition of system functionalities and rules. • Knowledge of business analysis practices, MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and agile requirements. • Knowledge of the methods: Scrum, Lean Startup, XP. • Knowledge of software requirements management tools. • Guide, monitor and direct developers on the use of requirements-process tools. • Capture and model requirements using a formal requirements language: formal text, graphical notation, models. • Define audit trail record-keeping. • Write user interface specifications. • Develop supplementary specifications. • Develop a requirements management plan. • Document information classification. • Prepare a list of requirements. • Prepare a system access profile matrix. • Conduct requirements approval meetings.
• Certifications: • Required: • - ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) – IIBA • - CPRE (Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering) • Preferred: • - CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) • - UX-PM Level 1 certification • - PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) • - IIBA-CCBA (Certificate of Competency in Business Analysis) • - CBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) – IIBA • Education: • Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology fields; or a university degree in any field plus a specialization in Information Technology.
