Description

• Leads execution of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives across an assigned region • Provides direct EHS support to manufacturing and operational facilities through site visits, assessments, audits, and leadership engagement • Partners with facility and regional leadership to improve EHS performance and safety culture • Conducts EHS reviews of capital projects, equipment installations, process modifications, and operational changes • Supports project approval reviews, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, startup reviews, and operational readiness assessments • Responds to significant incidents and high-risk events through investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification • Provides technical guidance and coaching on regulatory requirements, hazard recognition, risk management, and EHS best practices • Supports corporate, regional, and facility-level EHS initiatives, programs, campaigns, and improvement projects • Identifies compliance risks and develops corrective actions for audit findings, incidents, inspections, and regulatory requirements • Reviews EHS performance data, leading indicators, and risk metrics to identify trends and prioritize improvements • Supports regulatory inspections, customer audits, and external engagements • Facilitates sharing of lessons learned and leading practices across facilities • Drives execution of regional and global EHS roadmaps through actionable plans and measurable results • Partners with global and regional EHS leaders to deploy standards, management systems, governance processes, and performance expectations • Standardizes EHS processes, tools, and practices across facilities • Collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources, and Supply Chain teams • Develops and improves EHS standards, procedures, guidance documents, and management system requirements • Coaches and develops facility EHS resources and operational leaders • Monitors emerging regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices • Performs other duties as assigned

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Typically 10 or more years of progressive EHS experience within manufacturing, industrial, packaging, or related operational environments • Experience supporting multiple facilities, business units, or geographic locations within a regional or multi-site organization • Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, compliance initiatives, and operational improvement efforts • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and risk management principles applicable to manufacturing and industrial operations • Knowledge of machine safety, contractor safety, energy control, risk assessments, and operational hazard control strategies • Ability to evaluate capital projects, equipment installations, and process changes for EHS risks and compliance considerations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EHS information systems, reporting platforms, and data analysis tools • Experience supporting capital projects, equipment reviews, machine safety programs, contractor safety management, and process risk assessments preferred • Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent preferred
