Description

• Deliver high-quality actionable advice through a variety of media • Write clear, actionable, provocative, and pragmatic research • Provide high-quality and timely research content peer review • Create and deliver presentations for webinars, onsite engagements, and Gartner conferences • Track vendors, market trends, and emerging practices in Data Management, AI, and adjacent areas • Deliver sales support to retain and grow the Gartner business • Build credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner research, methodology, and strategy • Participate in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaboration with research peers • Identify research process improvements and develop new processes for excellent service delivery • Mentor and coach more junior team members • Support Data & Analytics Leaders through written and customer-facing deliverables addressing Data Management initiatives

🎯 Exigences

• Experience with data enablement of AI and agentic use cases, including delivered live projects and understanding of challenges, use cases, and technology • Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Professional Qualification, or 10+ years direct experience in a field related to Data Management and AI • Knowledge of core Data Management vendors that enable data agents and support AI and agentic readiness of data • Understanding of modern data management architectures, including data fabric, data mesh, and lakehouses • Knowledge of knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, and ontology development • Knowledge of vector and graph data stores for delivering context for AI • Knowledge of data agents supporting data engineering productivity • Experience with access to and integration of unstructured data for AI and context delivery • Knowledge of techniques for enabling AI-ready and agentic-ready data • Familiarity with CDAO initiatives, goals, objectives, and business value ROI • Ability to speak confidently to C-level executives and provide actionable, role-relevant insights • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, and presentation skills • Ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable • Data Management background, potentially including prior hands-on practitioner experience and leadership of teams or teams of teams • Understanding of the full data lifecycle, including data management platforms, data integration, data quality, and metadata management solutions related to AI use cases • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks, and defending conclusions • Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts concisely and simply • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders
