Description

• Support the physician division while overseeing the accounts receivable team • Collect outstanding insurance balances • Appeal denied claims and resolve accounts receivable for clients • Provide assistance and resolution to external and internal client inquiries • Prepare reports or logs as required • Serve as a technical expert on financial class responsibility • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare issues and regulations • Report payment and denial trends and procedural problems to clients • Recommend corrections for identified trends and problems • Establish goals and priorities aligned with organizational objectives • Support the Business Development team during the sales process • Ensure remote client access is timely disabled for terminated or transferred employees when applicable • Protect and disclose protected health information in accordance with HIPAA • Comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures • Limit PHI access to the minimum necessary for assigned duties

🎯 Exigences

• BS in Accounting or Finance required or stated as the primary qualification • MBA and/or CPA highly desirable • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles • Preferably experience in an acute care setting or comparable revenue cycle company • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to understand complex reimbursement structures • Ability to apply contractual and governmental regulations to billing processes • Knowledge of governmental, legal, and regulatory provisions related to collection activity • Knowledge of insurance company reimbursement practices • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses • High integrity, dependability, sense of urgency, and results orientation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes • Ability to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress • Ability to perform the stated physical and mental demands of the role
