Description

• Serve as executive technical lead on MGT’s largest, most complex, and strategic pursuits from first customer meeting through close • Lead customer presentations, executive briefings, and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually • Provide architect-level oversight on complex opportunities, ensuring design, integration, and delivery feasibility • Manage at-risk and must-win deals, resolve technical objections, and drive pursuits to closure • Support deals desk on discounting, pricing, and margin escalations • Ensure technical continuity into project startup and a seamless handoff to delivery • Refactor solution-group offerings based on market demand, OEM roadmaps, and delivery capability • Own pricing and packaging for the practice by vertical, geography, and customer size • Define and communicate the practice roadmap and technical vision • Manage strategic OEM, vendor, and subcontractor relationships • Build and deliver presales enablement, solution modes, demo standards, and reference architectures • Provide regional sales support and serve as escalation point for technical and commercial questions • Manage procurement vehicles and enable field adoption • Embed AI into scoping, design, estimating, and proposal-generation workflows • Track service delivery capability and identify skill, staffing, or tooling gaps • Own OEM certification tracking and maintain partner requirements and customer-facing credentials • Deliver monthly performance updates covering wins, sales performance, adoption, and customer-success collaboration

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Ten (10) or more years of hands-on experience in the applicable technology field • Five (5) or more years of presales engineering, solution architecture, or equivalent experience • Service delivery frameworks, including ITIL v4 and tiered service catalog design • Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Autotask, or Jira Service Management • Knowledge of network and endpoint monitoring and remote management platforms, including Auvik, ManageEngine, or ConnectWise • Knowledge of SIEM/SOC integration, alert threshold and escalation design, and patch/remediation tooling • Understanding of MSP business cases, TCO/ROI, CapEx-to-OpEx translation, cost avoidance, and competitive differentiation • Knowledge of recurring-revenue economics, gross margin modeling, attach rates, and contract structures • Experience with customer-facing reporting, QBR metrics, Power BI, native ITSM reporting, and RCA documentation • Ability to translate a prospect’s environment into a right-sized proposal and 30-60-90 day transition plan • Working knowledge of security, collaboration, cloud/datacenter, and physical security practice areas • Demonstrated success leading technical strategy on large, complex opportunities • Ability to design and price large-scale solutions, including budgetary and detailed cost estimating • Experience owning offering definition, pricing, or packaging for a technology practice or portfolio • Experience managing OEM/vendor relationships and subcontractor resources • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate customer requirements into a bill of materials and system design • Ability to present to executive and C-level audiences on technical and financial merits • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Willingness to pursue ongoing learning and professional growth
