Description

• Report to the Vice President, Shared Services and Risk Management • Serve as a key resource for financial and contract management systems • Translate financial data into actionable insights supporting strategic decision-making • Partner with Finance leadership to strengthen reporting and analytics capabilities • Optimize financial data structures, systems, and processes • Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday, Adaptive Planning, Agiloft, and related systems • Plan, test, and roll out system enhancements • Develop custom Workday and Adaptive Planning reports and dashboards • Maintain data integrity and optimize financial system workflows • Partner with Business Applications and Finance stakeholders to test and enhance finance-related tools • Lead assessment of existing platforms and develop a long-term financial systems roadmap • Identify and implement approved AI capabilities and system enhancements • Document new processes and system interdependencies • Communicate business processes, technical considerations, benefits, and risks to Finance leadership • Gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions across organizational levels • Develop and implement organization-wide onboarding and refresher training for finance systems users • Create training materials, job aids, and training modules • Contribute to broader system-related initiatives and projects as assigned

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; relevant experience may also be considered • 5+ years of finance experience working with ERP and budgeting/planning systems • Working knowledge of financial modeling using Workday Financials and other core financial functions • Strong understanding of Finance principles, processes, and best practices • Working knowledge of Workday Financials, particularly Core Financials, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management • Experience using or administering Adaptive Insights or a similar financial planning tool, including reports, dashboards, and calculated fields • Experience with Workday reporting, including data structures, custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields • Experience analyzing and documenting business processes is a plus • Exposure to additional Workday modules is a plus but not required • Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable objectives • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines • Strong customer service mindset • Ability to lead and execute projects independently from concept to completion • Must live within the DMV region or within a 50-mile radius of National Geographic headquarters • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
