Description

• Lead the expansion of Riedel’s Video Infrastructure solutions for sports and Division II educational environments • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in broadcast and sports industries • Serve as the primary point of contact for North American clients, providing service and technical expertise • Identify and pursue sales opportunities among broadcasters, sports organizations, and educational institutions • Present Video Infrastructure products at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows • Collaborate with product management and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve inquiries • Meet and exceed sales targets • Travel extensively across the North American market

🎯 Exigences

• Strong understanding of the broadcast and live production landscape, particularly in sports and Division II/educational institutions • Experience with game-day productions, replay systems, venue-wide signal distribution, or budget-conscious IP migrations • Knowledge of cloud-based streaming (SRT, RTMP), fiber/RF systems, or live production tools such as switchers and replay servers • Passion for advancing video infrastructure and keeping current with IP transition, scalability, COTS hardware, and related innovations • Background in selling to broadcasters, sports leagues, or educational institutions • Comprehensive understanding of SMPTE ST 2110-20 video, ST 2110-30/-31 audio with AES67, PTP synchronization ST 2059, and seamless protection switching ST 2022-7 • Understanding of uncompressed/compressed UHD/4K/HDR video, multicast routing (IGMP), spine-leaf network architectures, VLANs, and UDP/RTP • Hands-on knowledge bridging SDI/baseband with IP infrastructures, including gateways, converters, and processing • Familiarity with ST 2022-6/7, AES67/Dante audio-over-IP, and JPEG-XS compression (ST 2110-22) • Extensive travel capability
