Description

• Engage healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital tools regarding neuroscience products and approved conditions • Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare provider customers • Analyze territory data, market conditions, competitive threats, payer dynamics, institutional influence, and KOL mapping • Develop territory business plans and actionable short-term and long-term strategies • Educate office staff on payer guidelines and neuroscience reimbursement procedures • Identify payer opportunities and allocate sales data and promotional budget resources • Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and other internal teams • Strategically engage neuroscience customers and act as a disease-state expert • Participate in professional groups and build relationships with key opinion leaders • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with neuroscience accounts • Influence prescribing habits using approved promotional materials and customized presentations • Monitor performance data, adjust activities, and share successful approaches with the team • Forecast market changes and serve as an internal subject matter expert • Adapt sales-cycle strategies to changing conditions and support ecosystem development • Develop proficiency with internal systems and technology to uncover business insights • Model Otsuka values and support local team culture

🎯 Exigences

• 3+ years of experience in the Specialist role for the assigned therapeutic area • Significant therapeutic-area-specific or specialized hospital experience may be considered for candidates with less Otsuka experience • Advanced senior-level knowledge of sales capabilities • Advanced territory analytics and business-planning knowledge • High-level proficiency using business data, market conditions, and KOL/network mapping • Understanding of competitive landscapes, payer dynamics, and institutional/IDN influence • Knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures • Ability to strategically allocate resources using sales data and promotional budgets • Ability to collaborate effectively with matrixed support teams • Market and industry knowledge in neuroscience • Ability to build relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers • In-depth knowledge of product and competitor products • Ability to use approved promotional materials and customize technical presentations • Business analytics skills for identifying trends and forecasting market changes • Commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance • Ability to execute activities according to company policies and guidance • Willingness to develop proficiency with internal systems and technology
