• Build strategic, long-term relationships with key customer decision makers, OEM partners, ISV partners, and regional business partners • Meet and exceed sales, margin, budget, and established annual targets • Prospect for new business and obtain new customers through face-to-face presentations, sales meetings, telephone sales, and complex sales negotiations • Develop and execute sales programs to retain and grow the current book of business and attract additional accounts • Forecast long-range product sales, inventory levels, and product needs; communicate information to management • Research and develop existing customers and new leads to ensure retention and growth • Manage a defined territory and/or primarily Tier 1 enterprise accounts • Apply industry expertise in a vertical segment or very large enterprise accounts • Sell to C-suite executives and create and present strategic account plans to executive staff • Conduct outside business-to-business, solution-based sales and visit customer sites • Coordinate, develop, and conduct presentations and meetings to market One Peak offerings • Use Peak’s contact management database and develop new leads to increase sales of products and services • Work individually and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and goals • Maintain communication so opportunities are not missed and problems are promptly resolved • Develop and nurture OEM and ISV relationships within the territory • Provide mentoring and training to junior salespeople upon request • Ensure products and services are delivered on time • Monitor inventory levels to avoid product shortages • Engage customers in forward-looking projects and equipment lifecycle management • Maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and management • May be responsible for direct and indirect reports • Take accountability for business target delivery and decision-making
• 2-yr or 4-yr college degree in business, marketing or related experience; direct sales and account management experience may substitute for education preferences • At least three (3) years of successful regional sales/account management experience in service or product sales • Prior experience selling a technology product to industrial or supply chain IT and/or operations customer segments • Experience in the AIDC industry highly preferred • Previous face-to-face sales experience with current or prospective customers • Ability to develop, cultivate, and manage long-term, large, and complex customer relationships • Proven ability to negotiate complex customer contracts • Knowledge of outside sales strategies and techniques • Experience working within ERP and CRM applications • Ability to present to regional partners to help drive company solutions • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle • Ability to read and interpret documents, procedure manuals, and correspondence • Effective speaking ability with external customers and employees at various organizational levels • Ability to work with fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables • Ability to follow detailed instructions and utilize existing resources to solve problems • Knowledge of Excel, word processing, PowerPoint, and CRM software • Primary language used in daily operations is English
