Description

• Document and maintain financial processes for efficient and accurate reporting • Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes and provide clear reporting to leadership • Collaborate with actuarial and reinsurance teams • Work with the Data Office to identify and define controls and data availability needed for accurate financial reporting • Develop audit-ready documentation for key financial processes and controls • Direct preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, including quarterly and annual NAIC filings • Perform RBC analysis and use NAIC RBC forecasting tools • Develop an internal control testing framework for the future audit function • Review and document cash handling processes and reconciliation procedures • Collaborate with Insurance and Compliance teams on data or regulatory requests related to state expansion or reporting needs • Contribute to projects improving financial transparency, data readiness, and compliance

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • 8+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting • Preferably exposure to GAAP and statutory reporting • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting • Proficiency in interpreting financial outcomes and turning data into actionable reporting • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Strong communication skills • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Branch is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa • Candidates located in Ohio are preferred; candidates may also be located in AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NV, NC, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, and WI
