• At Smart Working, we believe your job should not only look right on paper but also feel right every day. • This role is Senior kdb+ Developer for a leading data solutions provider specializing in financial services; lead design and implementation of high-performance kdb+ architectures. • Permanent, full-time remote position focused on scalability and reliability in production environments. • Responsibilities include leading technical delivery, designing kdb+ architectures handling billions of rows of time-series data, collaborating with quants/traders/analysts, mentoring developers, full development lifecycle ownership, and driving innovation in kdb+ and adjacent technologies.

🎯 Exigences

• 5+ years of hands-on kdb+ development, with deep expertise in q and time-series data • Proven experience in designing and scaling kdb+ systems in production • Strong background in Unix/Linux environments and scripting • Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making in fast-paced projects • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience in capital markets or investment banking, with an understanding of its demands • A passion for clean, performant code and continuous improvement
