Description

• Design, build, and ship product enhancements to the 1035YellowPages platform • Develop database objects, ASP.NET Web Forms, and WCF web services in VB.NET/C#/.NET • Debug, triage, and resolve full-stack defects and performance issues • Build and maintain technical integrations moving data between CT and its clients • Coordinate new client onboarding • Serve as the direct technical contact for existing website and web service clients, including support escalations • Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality • Independently ship an enhancement or defect fix to production within the first 90 days • Learn the codebase and data model sufficiently to scope, estimate, and deliver work without supervision • Capture knowledge transfer from the retiring technical team in writing • Own the training and development plan for a junior resource • Report directly to CT's executive leadership team and collaborate with the Director of Business Development & Operations

🎯 Exigences

• 7+ years of professional software development experience • Significant time as the senior or sole engineer accountable for a production system • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework / .NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, and SQL • Windows Forms (WinForms), ASP.NET Web Forms, WCF Web Services, and Windows Services experience • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, database technologies, Microsoft SQL Server, and T-SQL • Demonstrated ability to work directly with enterprise clients on technical issues, integration work, and support escalations • Track record shipping and supporting production software in a small-team environment with end-to-end ownership • Comfort operating in an established codebase with legacy components, including sole responsibility for systems not personally written • Ability to generate 30%+ of code output using AI-assisted development tools • VB 6 and Visual C++ are nice-to-have • Experience with Azure DevOps, REST APIs, or ASP.NET MVC preferred • Familiarity with legacy migration projects preferred • Prior use of FogBugz or similar issue-tracking tools preferred
