Description

• Own end-to-end implementation of assigned Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) clients, from discovery and assessment through design, configuration, testing, training and go-live • Serve as the single point of accountability for assigned SMM clients across assessment, design, implementation, adoption and optimization phases • Build and maintain standardized SMM implementation playbooks and toolkits • Configure, test and maintain client SMM technology environments, including Cvent or equivalent • Drive meeting capture and program adoption through stakeholder communications and change-management campaigns • Extend program visibility to small and simple meetings through tiered intake paths and self-service tooling • Own SMM data integrity and reporting, including data standards, taxonomy, dashboards and management information • Lead recurring program governance, operating reviews, adoption checkpoints and policy refresh cycles • Identify and execute portfolio optimization opportunities involving policy, suppliers, sourcing, payment, reconciliation, automation and AI-enabled sourcing/RFP capabilities • Embed duty-of-care and data-governance requirements into SMM programs • Maintain program documentation, policies, SOPs, process maps, configuration records and training materials • Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Sourcing, Planning, Registration, Technology, Finance and Account Management • Maintain a prioritized portfolio view including capacity forecasting and workload allocation • Define, track and report program-level KPIs and SLAs and own corrective action • May hire, onboard, coach, manage performance and develop SMM program support team members • Allocate and rebalance team work, make sequencing decisions and cross-train employees

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's degree in business, travel, operations or a related field or relevant experience • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in travel management company operations • At least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role managing leaders and multi-functional teams • Experience managing global projects and service delivery across multiple regions • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale operational change, process improvement, technology adoption and multi-site or remote teams • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgets, forecasts, productivity management and profit improvement • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) • Accounting basics and basic statistical knowledge • Exposure to global operations • Strategic and operational leadership translating business objectives into actionable plans and measurable results • Experience developing and implementing efficient business processes, service models and change initiatives across multiple locations • Strong customer focus and deep understanding of the corporate travel industry • Ability to analyze operational, financial and productivity data and make data-driven decisions • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills • Ability to analyze data such as agent productivity reports • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests • Basic math ability • Ability to read and interpret information • Attention to detail • Regular and reliable attendance
