Description

• Develop, create, and modify computer application software and specialized utility programs • Develop microservices in a cloud-native environment • Operate an enterprise-scale production system • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues • Analyze user needs and develop robust software solutions aligned with business and mission goals • Analyze and design databases within an application area • Apply computer science, engineering, mathematical analysis, and distributed-systems design principles • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring of junior developers • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture teams • Migrate current-system functionality from mainframes to AWS GovCloud • Transition investigative search capabilities to Elasticsearch or similar technologies • Build scalable cloud-native microservices on OpenShift-based container platforms • Implement full-stack components and UI integration layers using modern JavaScript frameworks • Support event-driven architectures and high-throughput data-processing systems • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule one week out of every four • Acknowledge on-call contacts within 15 minutes • Begin assessing or troubleshooting on-call requests within 60 minutes of notification

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience • Active Tier 3 Secret clearance or higher • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming • Experience developing microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and automated deployments • Experience designing, developing, and operating solutions in AWS or other cloud platforms • Experience with event-driven architectures and at least two of Apache Kafka, Pub/Sub patterns, streaming, and event sourcing • Experience operating within GitOps practices, including GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, or ArgoCD • Experience working within Agile frameworks, including Scrum/SAFe ceremonies • Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket • Ability to support a rotating on-call schedule one week out of every four • Ability to acknowledge on-call contacts within 15 minutes • Ability to remain within reasonable access to a secure work laptop while on call • Ability to begin assessing or troubleshooting requests within 60 minutes of notification • U.S. citizenship or permanent-resident eligibility is indicated by the clearance application question: “US CITIZENS & PERM RESIDENTS ONLY”
