• Provide premium, client-focused technical support to Ulteig Plant SCADA control systems and clients • Identify and resolve PLC logic defects and enhancements • Perform break/fix troubleshooting and remote preventative maintenance assistance • Coordinate with clients and contractors • Complete logic updates and testing • Engage frequently with clients in the renewable energy industry • Develop and test PLC/HMI/SCADA programs • Maintain positive client relationships and respond to internal and external stakeholders • Program PLCs using platforms such as Allen Bradley, Schneider, or SEL RTAC • Program HMI/SCADA systems using Ignition, Wonderware, or Kepware/Topserver • Perform remote troubleshooting following live system best practices, including NERC CIP, ISO, and NIST • Understand and update technical documentation, including control logic, test procedures, and user manuals • Take ownership of personal and product quality • Complete tasks on time and within budget • Report to a Technical Manager or Engineering Supervisor • Participate in technical training sessions or conferences and share knowledge through technical reports or team presentations
• Two year technical degree • 4-7 years of Industrial Control System, Integration of Robotics Systems, or related programming experience • Renewable energy industry exposure – Wind, PV, BESS • Function Block and/or structured text programming experience preferred • Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures • Ability to use common, discipline-specific software and help others use it • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines • Excellent verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and clients • Ability to read and create engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics • Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL, and Access • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills • Willingness to travel 10% of the time • Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards • Permanent authorization to work in the United States • Openness to applying evolving technology and AI tools • Relevant military experience considered
