• Manage a product or portfolio of products throughout its lifecycle • Apply technical and functional subject matter expertise across the organization • Undertake complex technical projects impacting multiple business units • Resolve complex or ambiguous application issues • Partner with teams across the organization to deliver high-quality solutions • Support vendor management and licensing activities • Implement complex applications on one or more platforms and ensure proper documentation • Lead design discussions with IT staff and customers • Devise or modify processes and procedures to solve complex problems • Define and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with business goals • Manage application work to align with the product roadmap • Provide quality assurance and ensure applications are ready for release • Manage relationships with software vendors and external service providers • Research and evaluate new technology, products, and tools • Establish feedback mechanisms to ensure the product meets business expectations • Support complex operational activities • Analyze and evaluate courses of action and make decisions within scope • Curate and prioritize work activities for the portfolio or product • Provide off-hours support and serve as escalation point for complex issues • Provide technical and functional direction and mentoring to staff • Train, monitor, and guide less experienced staff • Provide input on performance reviews and hiring decisions • Contribute to team professional development • Deliver excellent customer service • Ensure continual improvement and adherence to departmental standards • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education • 5 years of relevant experience • Preferably technical proficiency in ETL, SQL, C#, .NET • Ability to provide off hours support, as needed • Ability to travel to on and off-campus locations • Ability to travel to on and off-site meetings • No specific certification/professional license is required • A driver's license is not required
