Description

• Serve as the voice of the customer for Zeitview's Oil & Gas vertical • Own problem definition by understanding enterprise customer needs, motivations, and value • Run customer discovery and build client relationships alongside sales • Synthesize market signals into clear, prioritized requirements for platform product managers and engineering teams • Own competitive intelligence and define metrics demonstrating product and strategy success • Propose business cases and go-to-market strategies for expanding offerings • Define success for the Oil & Gas vertical in terms of revenue, retention, and customer outcomes • Embed with 3–5 strategic Oil & Gas accounts to understand inspection workflows, pain points, and decision-making structures • Conduct customer interviews, operational ride-alongs, competitive analysis, and usage-data analysis • Create prioritized problem sets for the Oil & Gas vertical • Negotiate with platform product managers over engineering capacity using data and customer evidence • Write requirements specific enough for engineering execution and flexible enough for platform-wide use • Build internal credibility as the company's Oil & Gas industry expert • Coordinate across functions and informally guide others without direct reports • Regularly engage with enterprise clients and travel to sites and inspection locations

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science, technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience • 8+ years of professional experience • 5+ years in product management, solutions consulting, technical sales, or a comparable customer-facing role in enterprise software • Deep domain expertise in Oil & Gas • Understanding of Oil & Gas assets, inspection workflows, regulatory context, and business models • Track record of building trusted relationships with enterprise customers and converting those relationships into product insight • Ability to run structured discovery and synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into a prioritized problem set • Commercial acumen connecting product decisions to pipeline, deal size, retention, and competitive positioning • Exceptional communication skills • Willingness to travel to customer sites and inspection locations • Experience working with operational or service delivery teams is strongly preferred • Experience with geospatial data, remote sensing, or asset management platforms is strongly preferred • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered products is strongly preferred • Experience with go-to-market strategy, including product launches, positioning, pricing, or vertical-specific marketing, is strongly preferred • Experience in mobile application development is strongly preferred • Must currently live in Boston/New England or the San Francisco Bay Area • Must not require visa sponsorship or a visa transfer within the USA
