Description

• Stay on top of new cloud services and evaluate whether cloud-native alternatives can replace stack components • Continue striving toward a fully automated infrastructure • Evaluate new instances to determine the best price point while working with the provider on long-term pricing • Enhance the tools used daily to control clusters • Work closely with product management when considering new features • Advocate for protecting the performance of existing APIs • Build, manage, and scale Zendesk's Search infrastructure • Operate a combination of self-managed clusters and AWS-managed services • Improve infrastructure automation to support growth with Zendesk and its customers

🎯 Exigences

• Experience operating large systems at scale • Experience building, managing, and scaling Search infrastructure • Experience with self-managed clusters • Experience with AWS-managed services • Knowledge of cloud services and cloud-native alternatives • Infrastructure automation experience • Cluster management experience • Understanding of API performance considerations
