📋 Description

• Report directly to the VP of Global Sales and act as a strategic partner to the sales organization • Own and architect the global technical sales motion and ensure alignment with revenue goals • Build, lead, mentor, and scale a global Solutions Engineering organization of managers and individual contributors • Design and implement sales methodology (MEDDPPICC/MEDDPICC) within the technical sales process • Engage as an executive sponsor with C-level executives at strategic customers and partners • Develop and manage operational engine for SE organization (capacity planning, performance analytics, budget management, rules of engagement) • Serve as the primary liaison between sales and Product/Engineering; synthesize customer feedback to influence product strategy • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, CX, and Partnerships to manage cross-functional projects, feature releases, and channel partner support • Drive initiatives that accelerate revenue, increase deal velocity, and improve win rates

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in the SaaS industry • 5-7 years in a leadership capacity within Solutions Engineering or technical sales • Proven experience managing other managers in a worldwide capacity ("leader of leaders") • Proven builder of pre-sales teams, technical sales motions, and strategy • Deep, demonstrated understanding of enterprise sales cycles; think in terms of pipeline, deal velocity, and ARR • Proven track record of instrumenting and scaling a sales methodology like MEDDPICC across a technical organization • Strong background in cybersecurity, identity, or related enterprise security software (highly desirable) • Ability to command the respect of C-level technical and business audiences • World-class communication and interpersonal skills; executive presence • Strong business and financial acumen; experience managing departmental budgets and creating data-driven strategies • Experience linking technical initiatives to financial outcomes • Willingness/ability to travel (leadership roles ~ once per month on average) • Must be legally authorized to work in the countries listed in the job posting; 1Password will not offer work authorization, relocation assistance, or sponsorship/transferring of a visa • Successful applicants required to complete a background check
