• Mark submitted evidence using a defined assessment plan and grading criteria • Award marks using a defined assessment plan and marking criteria • Make sound judgements about the apprentice’s knowledge and competence • Provide robust feedback to apprentices and arrive at an overall grade • Attend standardisation meetings twice annually • Work as part of the 1st for Awarding assessment team • Maintain professional development • Assess the Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship Standard through projects, questioning, and professional discussions based on portfolios of evidence
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the sector at occupational level 3 or above within the last three years, or substantial proven sector expertise • Highly organised • Reliable and trustworthy • Able to plan own schedule and commit to agreed times/bookings • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Able to attend two standardisation activities per year • Experience working as an End Point Assessor, Independent Assessor, coach or tutor (desirable) • Grading experience (desirable) • Good understanding of apprenticeship standards and EPA (desirable) • Prevent and safeguarding training (desirable) • Assessor qualifications such as CAVA, TAQA, Award in Undertaking EPA, or A1 (desirable) • Computer, webcam, and strong internet connection • Personalised cover letter required for application
