• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, identify HR pain points and recommend tailored solutions that add value without feeling “salesy.” • Act as a strategic and tactical HR partner, adapting quickly to diverse industries, challenges, and client needs. • Navigate complex HR and compliance issues with confidence, providing clear, practical guidance to non-HR leaders. • Take full ownership of client deliverables: communicate proactively, manage risks, and ensure top-quality outcomes. • Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise, documenting best practices, and supporting their professional growth. • Streamline systems and processes to improve efficiency and implement scalable HR workflows. • Balance priorities across multiple clients, meeting deadlines while knowing when to escalate vs. act independently. • Demonstrate executive presence - communicate with confidence, deliver tough messages with tact, and influence decisions through insight and data.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including consulting or client-facing work • 2+ years leading teams • Experience supporting small to mid-sized companies preferred • Familiarity with Paylocity, BambooHR, or similar systems a plus • Experience in a consulting model a plus • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client/stakeholder relationships • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments (startups, consulting, or PE-backed companies preferred) • Comfortable learning new technologies quickly • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience). • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred.
