📋 Description

• Manage development and execution of the Credit Risk Review Continuous Review program for assigned Commercial or Consumer lines of business • Evaluate credit risk management processes, risk identification and rating, underwriting, origination, borrower selection and portfolio management practices • Review compliance with loan policies, procedures, laws and regulations, problem asset administration, impairments and charge-offs • Review credit quality and trends across portfolios, industry sectors and products and identify emerging risks • Establish and update risk-based business plans for assigned responsibilities • Complete continuous review activities for assigned portfolios with minimal supervision and serve as project manager or participant in portfolio reviews • Present review activities and results to business leaders, regulators and external auditors • Prepare quarterly and annual summaries, including annual credit-risk assessments • Challenge and advise business leaders on risk ratings, credit-risk practices, emerging risks and portfolio trends • Publish concise reports summarizing review results, issues, observations and recommendations • Manage open issues, observations and recommendations and obtain action plans addressing root causes • Review risk ratings and accrual status for Commercial roles • Perform quality assurance reviews and recommend program enhancements • Drive continuous process improvement within CRR • Share findings and emerging risks with Internal Audit and other Risk functions • Participate in acquisition due diligence and special projects • Assist with recruiting qualified CRR candidates • Act as a resource and aid development of junior CRR team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business related field • Minimum of 10 years lending and/or credit related experience • Credit Risk Review or similar loan review or regulatory agency experience preferred • Graduate degree in a relevant field preferred • Sound leadership, interpersonal, analytical and verbal/written communication skills • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interfacing with senior business leaders, regulators, external auditors and peers • Solid project management and presentation skills • Effective influencing and negotiation skills • Advanced ability to understand and interpret data from applications and database tools, draw high-level conclusions and determine actions needed for Consumer roles • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and related PC applications • Experience in Access, Business Objects and SAS desirable for Consumer roles
