• Drive market growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing business to secure long‑term, profitable sales. • Develop and maintain sales and marketing strategies for target areas, products, and customers. • Build strong client relationships through regular meetings, site visits, and presentations. • Recommend and position ABB products and solutions to meet customer needs effectively. • Deliver timely, customer-focused proposals in collaboration with the proposals team. • Lead high-value Framework Agreement opportunities from bid preparation to negotiation and rollout. • Collaborate across ABB teams and divisions to maximise account potential and strengthen client partnerships. • Act with integrity, always following ABB’s code of conduct and prioritising health and safety.
• Degree, HND or HNC in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. • Results driven and self motivated, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build trust and effective relationships with clients. • Good questioning and listening skills, with awareness of the commercial impact of technical decisions. • Competent IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite. • Full UK driving license. • Sales or commercial experience, ideally involving negotiation or management of high value agreements. • Experience within a technical or instrumentation environment in the utility or process industries is desirable.
