📋 Description

• Assist the sales team to secure profitable and deliverable new business • Provide commercial support in deal shaping, negotiations and contracting • Review pricing of existing and new business proposals against company margin, risk and contingency provisions • Ensure customer and supplier bids/contracts receive required approval under deal approval governance and policy • Identify, manage and report key commercial and legal risks • Act as main point of contact for principal client contracts and provide in-life contract management support • Review, interpret and advise on existing contract rights and obligations • Lead contract change management, including production of BAU contract variations • Support regular contract reporting in line with governance and contract requirements • Maintain accessible contract records • Record, ratify and circulate commercial and negotiation meeting minutes • Own ongoing contract administration, including contractual templates, toolkits and notices • Support subcontractor relationship management • Support due diligence and MI/audit data requests • Work as part of client-specific management teams, managing activity pipelines and contributing to client strategy, review and performance

🎯 Requirements

• Desirable 2+ years’ contracts experience • Demonstrable track record of owning and delivering pre- and post-contract activity • Good understanding of bid preparation and submission processes, including ITT, RFP and BAFO • Ability to identify and analyse commercial risks, including KPIs, SLAs, contractual dependencies and milestones • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills • Strong knowledge of contract law and its application in SW, IT, BPO and Professional Services environments • Good basic financial acumen • Ability to produce reports and summaries for senior and/or non-commercial audiences • Ability to see activities through to successful completion • Resilience and self-motivation • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure • Confidence in seeking support, input and guidance appropriately • Good communication skills
