📋 Description

• Actian is a global leader in hybrid data management, cloud data warehousing, and data integration technologies. Trusted by world-class organizations such as Bloomberg, Intuit, Lufthansa, and Citibank, we help businesses solve their most complex data challenges and drive transformation through innovative solutions. • Zeenea France is experiencing rapid growth; this role seeks an experienced and inspiring Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team, shape technical vision, and deliver outstanding results. • As a back-end engineer, you are responsible to design, implement and maintain new and existing connectors of the Actian Data Intelligence Platform. • The connectors aim at synchronising the metadata from existing data systems with Actian Data Intelligence Platform. • You will work daily with a lot of different data technologies; collaborate with team, the VP of Engineering and the product management team in an international Agile environment.

🎯 Requirements

• You have strong proficiency in Java development for at least 5 years and are autonomous in its use • You have initial experience with Scala development and are eager to learn functional programming • You have a solid understanding of the data ecosystem (persistence systems, processing, visualization, etc.). • You are comfortable working collaboratively using tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Docker. • You are capable of estimating complexity based on studies or required inputs. • You have strong adaptability and autonomy, which you have demonstrated through past experiences and which enable you to take ownership of new topics and identify appropriate solutions. • Naturally curious, you enjoy working with new and diverse technologies. • You are not afraid to propose effective and pragmatic solutions to address technical challenges you encounter. • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (English fluency is not required, but full proficiency is expected as English is the common language across the organization). French is a plus.
