📋 Description

• Lead the design and oversee contractor implementation of BMS systems • Ensure BMS systems meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals • Engage with clients, architects, M&E teams, contractors, and senior management • Manage projects from feasibility studies through specifications, point schedules, tender management, cost and bid analysis, and progress reporting • Conduct system surveys, assessments, and FAT/SAT testing • Provide reports, recommendations, and client training to optimize system performance and efficiency • Drive business development • Mentor and grow the BMS team • Manage knowledge sharing and contribute to smart building technology innovation • Promote Safety, Health & Environmental best practices • Solve technical challenges while ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety • Support integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems • Apply expertise in open communication standards and BMS technologies including Trend, Tridium, and Niagara • Occasionally travel nationally to project sites and AECOM offices • Balance office-based work with flexible remote working arrangements

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in BMS, mechanical and electrical systems • Experience in control systems, commissioning, and smart building technology • Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects nationally • Ability to handle workload, finances, and stakeholder engagement • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to work with clients, architects, M&E contractors, and senior stakeholders • Knowledge of open communication standards, BMS trends, and innovative smart building solutions • HNC or degree in building services, electrical engineering, or computer science • BMS experience with Trend, Tridium, or Niagara • Competence in cause and effect matrices, specifications, and commissioning • Chartered status or working toward it • Security clearance, or willingness to obtain it
