📋 Description

• Lead and grow a well-balanced team of engineers by setting expectations, giving feedback, and developing engineers • Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap • Connect roadmap initiatives to customer trust and business outcomes, including identity verification redesigns and structural improvements • Empower the tech lead and engineers to maintain design and quality standards • Support technical design and cross-functional alignment • Own availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems • Participate in on-call and incident response and reduce operational toil • Drive alignment across organizations and influence partner experience and foundational team roadmaps • Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, and other Engineering teams on cross-functional efforts

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams • Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software • Experience driving execution through ambiguity • Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability decisions • Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end • Ideally, experience decoupling or re-platforming consumer-facing systems within clear time constraints • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills • Proven ability to build alignment and drive outcomes in complex environments without direct authority • Either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
