📋 Description

• Provide technical support for Agfa Healthcare imaging products • Train to become a fully skilled DR X-ray Field Service Engineer • Install, commission, maintain, and service imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment • Perform problem-solving and customer liaison to ensure customer satisfaction • Produce accurate, detailed reports for customers and health and safety compliance records • Follow company health and safety guidelines • Manage personal schedules for field installations, corrective actions, upgrades, and preventative maintenance • Work away from home as required • Manage the compliant and timely return of equipment and parts according to ISO and WEEE procedures • Travel within the UK to shadow skilled engineers and work with installation teams • Attend hands-on product training in Germany

🎯 Requirements

• Degree, HND or similar in Engineering/Electronics, or qualification in ICT or Computer Science, or qualified by experience/apprenticeship • Experience working safely with electromechanical systems is essential • Understanding of networking and remote diagnosis software systems • Ability to fault find basic electronics to component level • Some relevant Service Engineer work experience is advantageous but not essential • Excellent analytical skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to use initiative • Customer-focused approach • Ability to work alone and as part of a team • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and third-party trades • Flexibility to work away from home as required • Willingness to travel within the UK and to Germany for training • Empathy for working within a medical environment
