📋 Description

• Architect, design, and integrate Safety components to create a safe humanoid robot • Coordinate with external partners to implement components of the system • Collaborate with the functional safety and systems engineering teams to develop and refine requirements and verification/validation tests for the safety system • Drive rigorous safety software development practices required for functional safety certification

🎯 Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in robotics, computer science, or related field or have equivalent industry experience • Experience architecting and developing safe robotics systems • Experience collaborating with functional safety teams • Experience coordinating the technical output of external partners • Experience developing safety critical systems • Experience with embedded systems • Strong software experience in modern C++ and Python • Exposure to standard agile and software development processes (issue tracking tools (Jira), feature branching, version control (Git), continuous integration and deployment) • Ability to communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing with other team members • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Authorization to work in the USA
