📋 Description

• The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, debating and implementing our strategic data architecture  and ensuring reliable and efficient data flows across the platform. • You will develop, automate, and maintain data pipelines, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our data systems. • Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing data engineering workflows and upholding the highest standards of data governance and security.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer in data-rich organizations • 3+ years specifically in data engineering, with experience leading data architecture discussions and technical decision-making • Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS/GCP etc), ideally with some exposure to Infrastructure as Code or remote configuration tools. • Hands-on experience with cloud-native data warehouses such as BigQuery (preferred), Snowflake, Redshift, and data lakes architectures • Experience with transformation tools like dbt, and distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink. • Strong coding experience in Python/Scala and advanced SQL knowledge across relational and non-relational databases • Maintain and optimize high-performance data pipelines with comprehensive CI/CD automation, implementing observability frameworks (metrics, logging, distributed tracing) and data quality gates to ensure pipeline freshness, accuracy, and completeness • Drive data-platform architecture decisions by turning ambiguous problems into technical designs and project plans and taking ownership of the end-to-end solutions. • Strong communication skills to effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in team environments
