📋 Description

• Architect Scalable Platforms – Design and evolve SaaS and cloud solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security. • Advance the Architecture Roadmap – Partner with engineering, GenAI, and DevOps teams to define and evolve the long-term technical architecture of Alexa Translations’ SaaS offerings. • Documentation & Standards – Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, integration diagrams, and technical guidelines; ensure accessibility and currency of all documentation. • Innovation & Prototyping – Challenge the status quo by exploring new technologies, creating proofs of concept, and rapidly prototyping solutions to meet emerging business needs. • Technical Leadership – Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams, raising code quality, design maturity, and product performance. • Full Lifecycle Architecture – Design solutions for new features while ensuring maintainability of existing code bases, with a focus on best practices and long-term sustainability. • Agile Collaboration – Work closely with Scrum teams and product owners to translate architectural direction into actionable development plans. • Cross-Functional Communication – Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating architectural decisions in clear, business-relevant terms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field). • 10+ years of software development experience building web-based products at scale. • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, AI Model Infra and deployment, ideally on AWS. • Strong expertise in the Python and front-end frameworks such as React. • Proven track record of architecting complex SaaS platforms with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security. • Experience and knowledge of SaaS compliance standards including SOC2, GDPR and ISO270001. • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. • Fluency in English (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues across regions.
