📋 Description

• Own the client relationship, including realization, utilization, NPS, retention, and growth for the full book of professional service clients • Serve as primary strategic advisor and relationship lead for business owners and executive teams • Identify and proactively address account risks • Deliver accurate and timely financials on budget • Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with client growth and profitability objectives • Lead financial modeling for pricing strategy, utilization optimization, capacity planning, and growth scenarios • Advise on partner or equity compensation structures • Develop long-range cash forecasts and capital allocation recommendations • Support M&A diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning • Build and maintain relationships with clients’ external partners, including bankers, investors, and CPAs • Identify and act on expansion opportunities within the existing book • Lead, manage, and hold delivery team members accountable for relationships, metrics, quality, timeliness, and EOS commitments • Interview and assess candidates for future team roles • Develop team members through feedback, coaching, and growth conversations • Proactively escalate people and client issues to the Managing Director • Manage team capacity to avoid over- or under-utilization • Deliver CFO services to the full book of nonprofit clients • Ensure delivery teams have direction, context, and support to deliver excellent work • Complete time tracking, capacity planning, and quarterly Rocks • Participate in the Brand Ambassador program • Uphold security practices protecting client assets and firm data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field • CPA preferred • 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience • Experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment strongly preferred • Proven success in executive-level financial advisory and client relationship ownership • Deep expertise in service-based financial modeling, utilization and realization metrics, billing structures, and revenue recognition • Demonstrated track record of LMA — leading and developing accounting teams • Excellence in executive communication and stakeholder management • Strong familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) preferred • Ability to deliver accurate and timely financials on budget • Ability to perform M&A diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning • Ability to manage capacity, quality, timeliness, and team accountability • Ability to uphold security practices protecting client assets and firm data
