📋 Description

• Carry out thorough examinations of mechanical equipment, ranging from 1000 Ton presses to guillotines and injection moulding machinery • Undertake non-destructive testing training • Maintain competence and complete crack detection of press components • Travel regularly from a home base to clients’ sites • Diarise meetings, visits and work allocation • Process documentation and complete general administration • Support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced and qualified Engineer Surveyor • Background in Power Press and/or hazardous machinery maintenance • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory rules and procedures relating to Power Presses • Experience in the manufacturing, repair or maintenance of Power Presses, Brake Press, Injection Moulding Machines, woodworking equipment, associated guards and protection devices • Understanding of electrical control systems and associated documentation would be an advantage • Strong customer interaction skills • Good oral and written communication skills • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges • Ability to make well-informed decisions and take responsibility • Effective short-, medium- and long-term planning • Ability to travel effectively within the allocated local work area • Competence processing documentation and completing general administration promptly • Willingness to support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors • Strong customer support skills, both face-to-face and in writing • Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage
