📋 Description

• Conduct hands-on inspections of plant and equipment at factories, warehouses, and other commercial premises. • Work closely with the Engineer Surveyor Team under the management of a Senior Operations Team Leader. • Prepare examination reports after inspections using electronic reporting. • Assess a wide range of installations and anticipate potential problems. • Help clients comply with relevant legislation. • Examine pressure vessels, boilers, and other pressure-related equipment. • Organise meetings, visits, and work allocation through effective short-, medium-, and long-term planning. • Provide support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required.

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline—preferably Mechanical Engineering—or be actively working towards an equivalent credential. • Background working with steam generation, compressed air and associated plant. • Manufacturing (QA and production), maintenance and operation, repair and site inspection experience is ideal. • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures relating to the Pressure Mechanical discipline. • Strong customer interaction skills, including good oral and written communication skills. • Full valid UK driving licence. • Time management skills and ability to independently organise the week's work. • Ability to travel effectively within the local allocated work area. • Ability to process documentation and undertake general administration in a timely manner. • Willingness to support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required. • Comfortable using tablets and smartphones as part of the working day. • Incorporated Engineer is desirable. • Understanding of Responsible AI principles is desirable.
