📋 Description

• Attend roadside assistance calls and assess situations at the scene • Diagnose vehicle faults using modern diagnostic tools • Repair vehicles at the scene wherever safe and possible • Make safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery • Arrange professional recovery and dealer workshop attention when required • Own each job end-to-end and communicate clearly with customers • Set expectations and provide reassurance during roadside incidents • Operate and maintain a fully equipped van • Manage tools and parts • Follow safety procedures and keep accurate notes in company systems • Meet service, safety and quality standards • Work efficiently toward achievable targets • Use AI, machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools responsibly and in line with data governance, security and ethical-use standards

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician able to work independently at the scene • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment • Confident, calm customer communication • Comfortable using IT, mobile apps and diagnostic software • Full UK driving licence • Confidence driving a fully equipped van • Relevant technical qualifications, such as a manufacturer apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Parts I & II, NVQ/B-Tech diploma • Existing EV credentials are welcome; candidates without them will complete EV Level 3 IMI Accredited and ATA Level 3 roadside diagnostics training • Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 7am and 10pm, including some weekends and Bank Holidays • Ability to travel across Plymouth or Belfast and surrounding areas
