📋 Description

• Run the founder's office across the group of B2B software and media companies • Own the operating rhythm, including daily check-ins, weekly business reviews, Friday updates and the decision log • Take unowned workstreams from conversation to one-page recommendation and execute the founder's decisions • Curate what reaches the founder, presenting each decision as one page with the decision, options, recommendation and deadline • Close loops through chasing, calls, counsel, the company secretary and candidates • Run hiring with the recruiter, including scorecards, interviews, references, trials and onboarding • Manage operating administration including payroll, banking within limits, tools and the filing calendar until documented and handed over • Work with co-founders, investors' teams and advisers • Direct and remain accountable for the AI operating layer, including records, cadence documents, meeting preparation and first drafts • Return the founder's time to work only he can do • Ensure the operating rhythm continues when the founder is away or tired • Land two senior hires through the process in the first six months • Ensure filings, payments, commitments and follow-ups do not fall through

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional writing skills; ability to turn a messy forty-minute conversation into a one-page memo with an honest recommendation • Ability to close loops across people who do not report to you, with examples of the last three such instances • Comfortable working with senior people • Ability to carry the founder's proxy with two experienced co-founders on follow-through • Numerate and discreet; able to handle cap tables, salaries, co-founder terms, payroll and banking within limits • AI already used daily for research, drafting, analysis and automation • Ability to identify what is being asked before asking and check returned work • Humble, hungry and receptive to correction • Ability to identify binding constraints and work on them • Sustainable working pace • Remote availability during UK hours • Willingness to spend a week in Jersey each month during the first quarter, then quarterly, plus one annual offsite • CV or LinkedIn profile • Application responses: something built, started or fixed independently (up to 300 words); weakest 'who you are' point (one line); location and salary expectation
