📋 Description

• Design, implement, and optimize endpoint security controls • Evaluate new endpoint security technologies • Develop security baselines and endpoint hardening standards • Provide technical guidance for endpoint-related security projects • Assess system security vulnerabilities, associated threats, and overall security risks • Assist engineers in implementing security tools for DevOps/SecOps processes • Participate in Design & Build IT projects and guide configurations toward industry-leading security practices • Work alongside Senior Security Engineers/Architects on proofs of concept and security solution implementation • Assist with security and compliance projects involving cloud, operating systems, applications, databases, and security requirements • Support DevOps/SecOps methodology and communicate organizational change • Administer, optimize, and support CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and BeyondTrust PAM • Partner with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering, and Identity teams to improve detection, automate security processes, and strengthen security posture

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years or more of professional experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, or security engineering • 1 year or more of professional experience administering Anti-Virus/Endpoint Detection Response solutions • Experience investigating security events and supporting incident response activities • 1 year or more of professional experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages (or equivalent) • Experience working with APIs and automation workflows • Experience with privileged access management platforms • Familiarity with GitHub and version control best practices • Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms • Experience implementing AI-assisted security operations or security copilots • Background investigation required • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
